Matthew 28:18-20『And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever, I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

There are many things Jesus said to his disciples. Since the Father gave Jesus himself all authority in heaven and earth, the disciples are to act based on all the authority of Jesus.

First, disciples are to make disciples of all nations. A disciple is someone who teaches everything the teacher has. A disciple learns from a teacher and teaches it to other disciples. What must be taught is the teaching of the death and resurrection of the cross. If this is missing, the gospel falls into humanism, legalism, and gnosticism. Are today’s churches truly teaching the death and resurrection of the cross? Through Jesus' death on the cross, all sinners who enter Christ are free from all sin. However, false teachers teach that only past sins are forgiven and that present and future sins must continue to be repented and forgiven by the blood of Jesus. It is a wrong doctrine.

If the believer's resurrection is combined with the resurrection of Christ, then the believer must also believe that he has been resurrected in the present. However, many believers believe that the body is resurrected after death, so this is also wrong. Considering this, it is the same as pastors in most churches today refusing to make disciples of Jesus.

Second, the disciples were to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (εἰς τὸ ὄνομα). If you look at the Greek Bible, it says εύματος『Ace To Onoma (εἰς τὸ ὄνομα)』 means within the name. What does “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” mean? Because believers are baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, they must accept that they become one with God. It means believing that dying on the cross with the Son (baptism in water and fire) means dying to sin and becoming dead to the soul. So, through the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we must believe that saints are also resurrected.

This means that it is not a ritual of simply sprinkling water on the head of a believer (baptism is immersion in water) and saying, “I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” The baptism that Jesus requested “embodies the death and resurrection of the cross.” How many people today preach the word accurately before baptizing like this?

Third, the disciples are to teach others to observe everything that Jesus commanded them. What did Jesus command? To summarize the Bible, it is love of God and love of neighbors. Love for one's neighbor is intended to revive a dead spirit. Love for one's neighbor bears fruit when one preaches the death and resurrection of the cross, explains its meaning, helps the other person understand it, and accepts that he too died on the cross and was resurrected. This is love of God and love of neighbor. Saints must teach this to those they preach to. However, in the church permeated with humanistic legalism and gnosticism, there is no present death on the cross and no present resurrection, but only stories of the world.

And after saying, “I will be with you always, even to the end of the world,” he ascended to heaven. Jesus ascended to heaven, but he remains with the saints. The reason is that when a saint believes that he or she is resurrected, a new temple is built in the heart, and Christ returns and enters the saint's heart, so the saint is with Christ. That is why a heavenly wedding feast is held in the hearts of believers. Those who think that the second coming of Jesus will be in the distant future are under the law and will only face God's judgment. For those who think of the second coming of Christ as a distant future, the second coming of Christ means the White Throne Judgment.
